My Take

Love is an intense deep affection that can never be defined in words. It’s a beautiful human emotion that comes unannounced stays to give us some wonderful memories for life and sometimes leaves unexpected. It definitely touches our lives in various forms and goes on to live in our hearts forever.
This book by Kumar Ganesan is written on these lines. Consisting of 9 different stories ,each talks about a different form of love. Each story portrays a unique theme , set in new era each time, rich in content and spills loads of emotions, leaving the readers craving for more.

The stories have been named interestingly after some famous bollywood retro songs which is not just aptly chosen to suit the contents, but also takes you to the era it was composed in. The inclusion of hindi dialogues gives it a desi touch. What I liked in these stories is that all of them have strong female characters.

With the author’s divergent thinking, relatable characters and engrossing narration, the book captivates the readers of all generations with its old fashioned and mordern romance. Also the author leaves a message in each story for the readers to grab. The excellent storytelling skills has rightly earned him the title “Storywalah”. Although the stories are short, they are impactful and stay back a little longer.
