What I liked?

The book intricately explores the life, food, tastes, local languages, and common places of Bangalore, creating an instant connection that resonated with me. Being a Bangalorean, I could vividly visualize the places and got a clear picture of the events taking place right in front of my eyes. The mention of the Mudde with mutton curry, the bonds, Chai, the Hoskote Biryani etc.  kept created  an irresistible craving in  me. The local places mentioned in the book  were familiar to me  which  contributed to the excitement and enhanced the reading experience of the intriguing plot.

The narration is smooth, the language is crisp, and the book is beginner-friendly, making it an  unputdownable book showcases a commendable writing style. Some of the characters having typical local names like Oil Mill Jaggi, Ditchie Babu, etc was interesting. The author has left no stone unturned in crafting this book with a typical Bangalore Kannada style, that supports the central character.
With a medium pace and a gripping plot, the book keeps readers engrossed till the end, devoid of any deviation.

What didn’t go well?

Although I liked everything about the book , a bigger font would have given me a better reading experience.

My Verdict

A wonderful thriller that is worth the time spent reading and leaves you saying ” Sakkath Thrilling Maga
